Role and status
Volunteers serve without compensation and are not employees, contractors, or agents. Roles, schedules, and supervision are agreed in advance.
Conduct and safeguarding
Volunteers follow the Community Standards, complete any required screening for roles involving minors or vulnerable adults, and report safety concerns immediately.
Confidentiality
Volunteers keep participant, donor, and organizational information confidential during and after their service.
Media and materials
Materials created in a volunteer role belong to the organization. Volunteers may not speak for the organization publicly without authorization.
Ending service
Either party may end the volunteer relationship at any time. Organizational property and access credentials are returned promptly.
Changes to this document
We may update this document as our services, technology, and legal obligations evolve. Material changes are published with a new version number, an updated effective date, and a summary of changes in the version history below.
Continued use of our websites, products, services, experiences, or communities after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the current version.
